It all started with the first “click” of the camera and here I was making photographs, running around the streets of Mumbai (then Bombay), testing my new passion, called photography.
Before I realized, I had entered the world of “making photographs” at L.S. Raheja School of Arts, with photography being my area of specialization. My first adulation came when I was awarded the Best Fashion Project at my College from Mr Gautam Rajadhyaksha and coincidentally, that was also the time when my family and friends started to take my work, seriously.
Photography is an art and constitutes of multiple layers of creativity, passion, design, technicality and much more. While I learned the nuances of photography in college, I was exposed to its practical implementation when I got an opportunity to assist renowned fashion & people photographer, Mr. Jagdish Mali. An institution in himself, Mr. Mali emphasized on spontaneous style while emphasizing on various techniques of shooting and lighting at indoor and outdoor locations.
In 2007, while assisting Mr. Tushar Deshpande, I learnt the finer nuances and techniques which needed to be understood while focusing on lifestyle, product and advertising photography. Worked for several projects and clients ranging from Lokhandwala construction, SOTC, Relispray, Nike,  Jet Airways, IDBI, Fortis, Giordano, Bharat Matrimony, amongst others.

As my career developed, I started going for independent shoots for The Times of India (Times Life), wherein I shot lifestyle, interiors, fashion, food, amongst other things and from then on, there was no looking back. While on one hand, the agencies namely, O&M, Mudra , LOWE (Lintas), Publicis, Contract, BMB Madison, were recognizing my body of work, on the other hand, individuals were reaching out to me for their portfolios. My most interesting work has been with a few of the publications like Filmfare, Stardust, Femina, Ehlan Masala(Dubai) Society, Mother & Baby, who gave me an opportunity to exercise what I learnt with Mr Mali, and additionally I shot up, close and personal portraits of celebrities namely Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Shankar Mahadevan, amongst others. Simultaneously, I have been working on their online initiatives e.g Shankar Mahadevan academy.
